PAJIMS — an acronym for Pallars Jussà International Marketing & Services, S.L. — is the legal entity through which Dr. José-Maria Rius-Brescó (“Joe”) brings together a network of senior business professionals, many of them associated with ESADE Business School, on a project basis. Since 1981, more than 80 professionals have contributed to PAJIMS projects across five continents.
Dr. Joe was born in the district of Pallars Jussà, located in the Pyrenees region of Lleida, Spain, approximately 100 kilometers from the French border and a similar distance from the Principality of Andorra. He named the company after his home district, where his family has maintained ties for at least 450 years, traditionally connected to agriculture.
